Bryan Falchuk is the President & CEO of Insurance industry trade organization PLRB (Property and Liability Resource Bureau), thought leader in the industry, and the author of The Future of Insurance book series.

Bryan spent 25+ years in the insurance industry, including serving a carrier COO and Chief Claims Officer, and leading growth for an insurtech. Bryan has also held leadership roles in corporate strategy, operations and distribution, and was a consultant in McKinsey’s insurance practice.

Inspired to improve the lives of people at their moments that matter, today as the Leader of Insurance, capital markets & banking for Microsoft Australia & New Zealand, Amber is working across financial services to drive AI transformation. Prior to Microsoft, Amber spent 10 years at IBM building strategic partnerships across the property, real estate investment trust and media and entertainment sectors. In 2011, Amber made the move to Microsoft working with the public sector and for the past decade, dedicated to financial services in Australia creating strategic partnerships for broad reaching impact across Australia. Amber is Mum to 12 year old and 2 year old girls and a passionate advocate for women in technology & financial services.

Richard Enthoven is the founder, and former Chief Executive Officer (1999 to 2021), of The Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd and the co-founder of Greenstone Financial Services Ltd and PetSure Australia Pty Ltd.
Richard currently serves as the chairman of Greenstone and a director of Hollard Holdings Australia and PetSure Australia. Richard is also a director of Trupanion Inc, a leader of medical insurance for cats and dogs throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Puerto Rico and Australia.
Richard served as a director of the Insurance Council of Australia from 2013 to 2024, including deputy president from March 2017 to November 2017; president from 2017 to 2019; and deputy president from 2021 to 2024.
Richard also served as a director of The Hollard Insurance Company and The Hollard Life Insurance Company in South Africa from 2004 to 2014, including chairman of both companies from 2008 to 2014.
Richard holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California.

Charmian is a Partner in the Funds & Financial Services team at Hamilton Locke. She provides legal and compliance advice to a broad range of financial services industry participants including insurance brokers, general insurers, underwriting agencies, fintechs and insurtechs. She is often engaged to provide legal sign off on product design and development and insurance distribution, including group purchasing arrangements. She is sought out for her niche expertise in innovative insurance solutions including parametric products, discretionary mutuals and aggregate deductible schemes.
Charmian advises on all aspects of financial services law, she loves nothing more than devising new risk products and solutions – like peer-to-peer models and other alternative risk vehicles. She thrives on helping businesses grow and develop over time, from seed funding through to acquisition or IPO. Startups often seek her out when they need a sounding board to refine their ideas. She creatively finds new solutions that are within the boundaries of the law yet commercial in their execution.

With close to 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Amar has held roles spanning across strategy, distribution, product, marketing, and technology.

Amar is passionate about digital disruption in the insurance industry, and the ways in which technology can help improve outcomes for all involved in the sector. At BZI this has translated into building a high performing technology team that has developed a cloud-native intelligent insurance system.

Beyond work, Amar enjoys cooking and spending time with his young family.

He headed up IAG’s Satellite business – IAG’s end-to-end disruptor business – launching new business models to market, building a start-up culture and running IAG’s largest partner business. Prior to that, he was MD of More Th>n, one of the UK’s leading personal lines insurers and one of the largest pet insurers in the market. He’s also led Strategy, Marketing & Customer for RSA’s $4bn Scandinavian insurance businesses as well as its International Division, covering markets that included Ireland, Italy, and Canada.

By registering to attend InsurtechLIVE 26, you provide your consent for Insurtech Australia to share your details containing your name, company and email with Business Partners or Exhibitors

Event Cancellation Policy

If after registering you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place. If the substitute is not in the same membership category that was originally booked, ie. non-member or member, an additional fee may be due to reflect the correct rate for the substitute delegate to attend.
